
Silver 2.0 released
now supporting rapid prototyping, FMI, and more...
May 21, 2010. Two years after the first official release of Silver, we are proud to announce the release of the second major version, with many new features and improvements.
- Rapid control prototyping on laptop: connect via CAN the controller functions running in Silver to a real car or to a hardware-in-the-loop simulation
- Online parameter-calibration for control software and simulation models: parameters can be adjusted during simulation and saved in various formats
- Import of FMUs, i.e. of DLLs that implement the FMI 1.0 standard for model exchange
- More support for analysis, debugging and test: measurement of time and stack requirements of ECU controller, Fourier analysis and oscillation detection, range monitoring; worst-case analysis in conjunction with TestWeaver
- GUI: improved plotter, import widgets from other configurations, action undo and redo
Silver is used by automotive development engineers to integrate and test system modules virtually using simulation on Windows PCs. Silver provides built-in support for automotive standards such as ASAP2/A2L, CAN, MDF, XCP and FMI to perform co-execution of control software and of vehicle simulation models. Silver provides support for several analysis tasks recommended by the ISO 26262.
